Resty Babirye Okello, RM, Bsc. PH, MHSR

Resty is a Health Researcher  and clinically trained midwife with over 10 years’ working experience majorly in maternal, newborn, child and adolescent health care, public health and research.

As a health researcher, Resty has worked with reputable health-based entities like MUJHU-Research collaboration and  Baylor-Uganda on clinical research projects  as well as partnered with IDI, USAID, Makerere university School of public health, Sproutly Consulting among others, on short-term research consultancies, through which she has built up a wealth of knowledge and skills in the design, conduct and analysis of both Qualitative and Quantitative research projects; with proficiency in use of statistical software like STATA, Atlas, ODK  etc to produce high quality evidence on health issues.

As a professional and public health promoter, Resty has experience in provision of excellent maternal and child health care, capacity building of healthcare professionals and medical students at busy health facilities in Uganda;  She has Supported provision of the health and psychosocial well-being of children and youths living with HIV/AIDS in Africa through participation in community outreaches and ‘Serious Fun’s Partner Programs’.
